DESCHAMPS, Yvette (née Champagne)
In loving memory of Yvette Deschamps, who passed away on February 18th, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of Lorenzo Deschamps (predeceased) of Val Thérèse. Daughter of the late Victorine Descarie and of the late Isidore Champagne. Loving mother of Suzanne (husband Richard Proulx) of Val Thérèse, grand-children Alain Proulx of Ottawa, Gilles Proulx of Bradford and loving Mamie to Tyson Proulx. A dedicated teacher for the Catholic School Board for 36 years. She had a lifelong impact on many students. Dear sister of André (Pauline), Lucien (Claire), Sr. Lucile, Juliette, Jean-Guy (Lucienne), Suzanne (Bernard), Liliane (Jacques); deceased: Sr. Aline, Carmen (Larry), Isidore (Réjeanne) and Roger (Thérèse). In her spare time, she was interested in golf, social dancing, and loved the beautiful nature of her cottage in West Arm, as well as her stays in Florida. The family wish to thank all the staff at the Elizabeth Centre for their excellent care, support, kindness, and great compassion especially in Zone Area 1. Thank you to Père Giroux and to the Cooperative for all their help through these difficult times. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice or to Centre Missionnaire of Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Parish (by cheque only). A memorial Mass will be held at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville, Val Thérèse, ON Saturday, February 27th, 2021 at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph St, Hanmer on Friday, February 26th, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Due to the current pandemic, masks are mandatory and there will be guest limitations at the funeral home and Mass. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
