Obituary for Wanda Bielaski (Page)

Wanda Bielaski (Page)
November 7, 1958 – September 21, 2023

It is with profound sadness and eternal love that the family of Wanda Hilda Bielaski announce her passing on September 21, 2023, at the age of 64. After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Wanda gained her angel wings. Although to her family, she was always their angel.

Wanda is survived by her husband Michael Bielaski. He has been the love of her life and best friend for 41 years. Wanda will be forever missed by her four children James Hayden Bentley, Joseph Bentley (Sammie-Jo Gosleigh), Jacob Bentley (Cynthia Lacelle) and Brandy-Lise Bielaski. Her seven beautiful grandchildren Dorion, Olivia, Kingston, Serenity, Lucas, Logan and Arya will always know the love their Gramma had for them. Wanda is also survived by her father Walter Page, her sisters Shirley Bonczak and Holly Hiscoe and her brother Walter Jr. Page. She is predeceased by her mother, Victoria Harnish.

From the day Wanda received a palliative cancer diagnosis, she maintained a positive and upbeat attitude. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined and continued doing the things she loved. During her battle with cancer, she proudly hosted Christmas with all the fixings. She held many family gatherings. She continuously decorated her home, baked with her grandchildren, and even picked blueberries shortly before her passing. For nearly two years, Wanda persevered. Her family attributes this to her immeasurable love for them. Wanda would be the first to admit that her most important accomplishment in life was raising her children. She loved them and her grandchildren unconditionally and made innumerable sacrifices for them.

A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the All Nations Church, Sudbury.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Northeast Cancer Center. Mom adored the nurses, technicians and volunteers in chemotherapy and radiation. She was so grateful to have Dr. Lacey Pitre and Dr. Ryan Carlson as her oncologists.

“Mom, life will never be the same without you. You truly were and always will be the piece that held us all together. We love you.”
