My cousin Violet was 13 years older than I and lived 4 hours away when I was a child. On one of our visits to Sudbury, Violet gave me my first make-up kit. I thought she was the prettiest young woman I knew at the time. She showed me how to put it on but I overdid it quite a bit because I looked more like a clown than young lady. My mother and my aunt were not impressed but Violet and I had a really good laugh. Her laughter will be missed. Josiane
