It is with great sorrow that the family announces her tragic passing as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Friday, August 31st, 2012 at the age of 24 years. Much loved daughter of the late Pierre (Dec.3, 1990) and Francine Proulx (Denis Larocque) of Brantford. Cherished sister of Marc, Renée and a very special aunt to Dylan and Alexis. Beloved granddaughter of Emile and Carmen Morrissette and Aline and the late Conrad Proulx. Great-granddaughter of Alda Ross. She will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and her many friends, especially Matt Finch. Sophie had a great love for animals and her boxer Riley will miss her. She had also just graduated from Laurentian University with a Degree in Speech Pathology. The family will receive friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R R 15, Chelmsford, Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St-Joseph’s Church, Chelmsford. Donations (by cheque only) to the Brant Animal Aid would be greatly appreciated.
