Obituary for Rosina Chevrier (Rouleau)

Rosina Chevrier (Rouleau)
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces her passing on Wednesday March 16, 2022 at the age of 86 years one month short of her 87th birthday. True love of 69 years, she was the wife and partner in crime to Léo Chevrier. Very special Mom and role model to Suzanne (Michel Berthiaume), Carmen (feu Marc Levesque), Camile (Aline) and Nicole (Mike Drolet). She is reunited with her two daughters Colette and Anita (Denis Lalande). She loved and adored her grandchildren. Cherished mémère of Roland (Lori), Marcel (Lise), Lucie (Paul), Eric (Natasha), Natalie (Greg), Nadia (Simon), Danielle (Jamil), Chantal (Jonathan), Mélanie (Kyle), Patrick (Jamie) and Sophie. She was so proud to tell everybody that she had 12 great-grandchildren, soon 13. She loved their visits and having them around her. Loving great mémère of Derek, Trevor, Olivia, Jacob, Everly, Brielle, Kaleb, Madison, Skylar, Zavier, Liam, Arièle and baby to come. Buddy was her fur grandbaby that she considered her own. He sure will miss all the treats in his own special cupboard. Rosina was the daughter of the late Bruno and Gracia Rouleau (née Laurin). She will be missed by her brothers and sisters, in-laws, her three special cousins that were a brother and sisters to her and many nieces and nephews. Rosina was a very good cook, you always had to eat when you went to her house or camp. Many will miss her beans and lasagnas. But the grandchildren and great-grandchildren will remember mémère for her awesome and famous «soupe à mémère”. She was an avid gardener, always had a good harvest and her love for flowers was purely reflected in all her beautiful flower beds at camp. Our mom was a beautiful woman, always smiling and caring for everybody. She was very generous and always there for us. She was our rock. Family was very important to her, and she loved to see us all together especially at Christmas. She will remain in our hearts forever. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated, Monday, March 21, 2022 at 1 p.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca.
