The family announces with great sorrow his passing into the Presence of the Lord on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of Marlene for 57 years. Loving father of Robert, Sherri (Brian), Mary (Terry), Stephen (Tammi). Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Alexander, Anthony, Mia, Adria, and Abigail. Son of the late George and the late Edith Waddell. Predeceased by brothers Don, John, Bruce and Doug. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Robert worked for and was sales manager for Canada Bread for 49 years. He was a faithful member of Valley Pentecostal Church. In his retirement Robert enjoyed volunteering at the Blue Door Soup Kitchen for 25 years, and was happiest when surrounded by his loved ones. The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses, PSW's, Bayshore staff, especially Christina, and the Hospice staff for all the wonderful compassionate care they provided Robert during his illness. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME Chapel, 222 LaSalle Blvd., Sudbury on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon.
