The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sturgeon Falls on Friday, January 2nd, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Béatrice (née Lafortune) Proulx of Warren. Son of the late Louis Paul and of the late Florida (née Rochon) Proulx. Loving father of Daniel (Suzanne), Bernard (Doreen) and Denis (Aline) all of Warren, Pierrette Mainville (Fernand) of Hanmer and Gaëtan (Michelle) of Markstay Predeceased by his son Yvon (Diane of Warren). Dear brother of Aurore Bonin (Jean-Guy), George (Pauline), Aimé (Reina), Gilbert (Lucie), Noella Pitre (Raymond) and Conrad. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Jean-Noël, François, Henri, Lucien, Jérome, Claire and Simone. Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Onil retired from INCO after 31 years and worked hard on his farm. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Tuesday, January 6th, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in the Chapel.
