On May 7th, 2023 Mike Quenneville passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family and friends.

Mike was born and raised in Elliot Lake, On, son of Robert Quenneville and Ginette Longworth (pre-deceased). Mike loved to go fishing, hunting, playing hockey, and hitting the open road on his Harley.

He leaves behind his wife Celine, daughter Carie, his grandchildren Aili and Jace and his loving dog Jayli.

Mike will be missed by his best friend and partner in crime Freddy(Laurelle), his brothers Paul (Karen), Dave (Anne-Marie), his Sister Diane, his nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends and colleagues. He will be reunited with his sister Joanne (pre-deceased).

His family would like to give sincere appreciation to everyone who have helped them get through this difficult time. Mike’s friends and collages at Vale, Celine’s friends and colleagues at the HSN cardiac clinic, care partners, the palliative team, his nurses from Bayshore and his doctors at city of Lakes family health team, HSN and the Northeastern Cancer Centre.

A celebration of life will be held at a date and location to be determined.

As Mike loved animals, especially his Golden Retriever Jayli, the family is asking that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to the Golden Rescue.
