It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the age of 57 years. Beloved husband of Mable Dockery-Ptaszynski. Cherished son of Pat (née Hubert) and the late Lech “Leo” Ptaszynski. Loving stepfather of Jennifer Dockery (Rod), Clifton Dockery (Tammy), Linnette Diseko and Joshua Dockery. Dear brother of Lorena King (Michael). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Michael was an electrician and worked within the family business at the Rosery Florist for many years. He operated a DJ service within the community and had a passion for woodworking. As per Michael’s request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 11 a.m. by invitation only at Christ the King Church, Sudbury. Funeral Mass will be broadcast via www.christthekinglive.com. Due to the pandemic, a mask or face covering is mandatory and there will be a limitation of 50 attendees. Those that are unable to attend are invited for a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. at the Caruso Club following the Mass. Donations can be made by cheque to the Royal Purple Sudbury Lodge 148 and Christ the King Church or online to the Maison McCulloch Hospice.
