As a child, I loved going over to the Renaud’s for breakfast. They had toast and cocoa, which I loved, real cocoa and not that artificial, loaded with sugar hot chocolate. We normally had cereal for breakfast, which I didn’t really care for. But it was so much more than toast and cocoa—Mrs. Renaud always made me feel like one of her own, even when I became an adult. She had a small home and it housed a gigantic heart. Such a happy memory! Thank you Mrs Renaud.
