LALONDE, Lucienne

In loving memory of Lucienne “Lucy” Lalonde (née Levac), who passed away peacefully on December 24th at Health Science North. Beloved wife of Rodolphe (Ralph), both were very proud to have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year! A great mother to Michel, Carole Graham (David), & Patrice Filion (Robert). Cherished Mémé to Eric, Victor, Jeffrey, Anne, Nicole & Mackenzie. Caring sister to Germain, the late Roméo, Lorraine, Irène & Marie-Jeanne. Loved daughter of the late Aurore & late Georges Levac. Lucy will be remembered for her caring heart & fiery spirit. She was an independent career woman in the 1950s & was proud to have worked at Eatons for 25 years-retiring in 1996. She curled at the Falconbridge Curling Club in the winter and golfed at the Chelmsford Golf Course in the summer-enjoying many friendships there. Lucy was a family woman supporting her husband, children, grand children with care, leaving us all with beautiful memories & many loving moments. She was always there with a tenacious spirit, kind words, gentle hugs & unconditional love. Special thanks to the VON Adult Day Program & Bayshore personal support workers who added joy to her life this last year. Great big thank you to HSN-4 south staff who were exceptional & especially to Dr. Mary Olsten & her team of physician who listened & cared! If you wish, donations can be made to Sudbury VON Adult Day Program or Alzheimer’s Society. Family will receive relatives and friends after 10a.m on Friday January 17 at the St-Jean -de-Brébeuf church in Sudbury. A funeral mass will follow at 10:30am.
