It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the age of 82 years or 39 years if you asked him. Son of the late Albert Marois and the late Liliane (née Lauzon) Marois. Predeceased by his wife Corinne (née Sabourin) Marois. Loving father of Monique Newton (Greg), Lise Mikus (Brian) and Carol Clarke (James). Cherished Pepere of Kaylee, Dylon, Meagan (Steph), Amber (Zach), Cassidy (Ryan) and Logan (Kaylee). Cherished and loved great grandfather “Pé” to Alayna. Dear brother of Ronald, Raymond (Kimberly), Jeannine Labelle (late Frank), Diane Lanteigne (Jean-Marie), Patsy Dubé (John), Claudette Loisselle (Gary), Claire Rivard (late Mike). Predeceased by his siblings, Marie, Rhéal, Joanne and Linda. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lou will be remembered for his sense of humour and for being, caring, generous and a gifted athlete. Enjoying hockey, baseball and football.
