With heavy hearts we announce our dad’s peaceful passing on Friday, March 24, 2023, at the age of 84 years with his family by his side. He told us he was “ready” to join our mom, his dearly missed wife Marion (predeceased 2015) of 58 years.

For the past 21 months, Leo called the Elizabeth Centre in Val Caron his home. Our family wishes to express our sincere appreciation to the caring staff who loved Leo like family and provided him with all the quality time and care he needed. Some people really make a real difference in the care of our loved ones.

Born to William and Emilia (Foucault) Tranchemontagne on October 15, 1938. Siblings, Rita Brosseau (late Leonard), Ronald (late Madeleine), predeceased by Arcade, Emile, Doris and Gerry (Linda). He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. His greatest joy was being a father to his children Lynn (predeceased,) Richard (friend Adelle), Debbie, Peggy Wilson (Brent) and Mike (Ann). He will be missed by his daughter-in-law Nicole and close friends Nellie, Claude and Dave. Lovingly remembered by his 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in the Chapel.
