Condolence From: Lucie Lalande
Condolence: Laurette's colleagues at RTO/ERO(Retired Teachers of Ontario/Les enseignants(es)retraités de l'Ontario)send their condolences. We know that your best comfort will come from the telling of her life's stories by those who knew the joy of her presence in their lives, including her students and staff members. Laurette's name has been added to our In Memoriam. She will be remembered at our next meeting and a donation will be made to the CMHA Canadian Mental Health Association in memory of Laurette Smyth.

Condolence: We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to Laurette's family, for their loss. We have lost a good neighbour.
She was indeed a petite woman who provided an enormous sense of stability and continuity on our avenue and she will be missed.

Condolence: Dear Smyth Family and Friends, It was my blessing to have worked with Ray Smyth at Sheridan Technical School and Sudbury Secondary School, and, through, Ray, at various social events, to meet his delightful wife, Laurette. What a kind, gentle, sweet, smiling couple they made; a true inspiration. I also admired Laurette's excellent pottery skills. God bless all of you as you celebrate Laurette's life and as you carry on the legacy she leaves.

Condolence: My grandma was a sweet, special lady who I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time with, particularly these last few years. It was always a pleasure: in addition to sharing many a meal, time passed easily as we chatted about anything and everything, or as we worked away on our latest craft projects. I’m comforted that I can see a number of her great qualities in my family members, and in knowing she positively impacted others. I’ll miss her dearly. She made our world better.
