It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Kevin Kroft on May 21, 2021, at the age of 44 years old. Empathy, love, support and knowledge of mental health is so important for those suffering with mental illness. Kevin suffered immensely this past year but he was not his illness. Kevin was always full of life and had an infectious smile. He was loved by everyone who knew him. Kevin had a passion for sports and carried a strong presence in multiple athletic communities. He was celebrated for his many accolades as an incredibly bright scholar. His most rewarding achievement of all was being a father to his three beautiful children Nina, Courtney and Ben Kroft. He loved his children more than anything and was an incredible father. He will be sadly missed by his devoted mother Debbie Kroft, father Chris Kroft and Shirley, his close friend Julia Galic, and his brother Michael Kroft and Dana. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews Valerie, Hailey, Brendan and Bradley as well as his many friends, aunts and uncles near and far away. We are wishing Kevin all the comforts of heaven. The world will be a dimmer place without his light. He will be forever loved, forever missed and never forgotten. A private family service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
