C’est avec immense tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Joelle Rochon, le 11 juin 2023 à Mattawa à l’âge de 41 ans. Elle était la fille bien aimée de Jacques et Nicole Rochon de Témiscaming Québec, sœur de Stéphane (Traci) de Murietta Californie et de Renée (Yanick Larabée) de Rouyn Noranda Québec. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses neveux et nièces, Benjamin, Julien, Sébastien, Layla, Ophélia Rochon ainsi que Emily et Sam Larabée.
Ses grands-parents Normand et Audette Gauthier (Azilda) et Murielle Tessier (Sudbury) pleurent aussi sa peine. Elle laisse également plusieurs oncles, tantes, cousins, cousines, le merveilleux personnel soignant et les résidents de sa maison et de nombreux amis. Elle est partie rejoindre ses grands-pères Cléophas Rochon et Armand Tessier ainsi que son cousin Paul Rochon.
La famille recevra parents et amis à la Coopérative Funéraire de Sudbury au 222 blvd Lasalle le vendredi 23 juin de 10h à midi et de 13h à 14h30. La messe funéraire suivra à la paroisse Ste Agnès d’ Azilda à 15h.
Nous tenons à remercier le personnel de Community Living Mattawa pour leurs excellents soins donnés à Joelle pendant les dernières 14 années. Sa mémoire restera gravée dans nos cœurs pour l’éternité. Repose en paix ma belle Joelle!

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joelle Rochon on June 11, 2023 in Mattawa at the age of 41. She was the beloved daughter of Jacques and Nicole Rochon of Témiscaming Quebec, sister of Stéphane (Traci) of Murietta California and Renée (Yanick Larabée) of Rouyn Noranda Quebec. She is survived by her nephews and nieces, Benjamin, Julien, Sébastien, Layla, Ophelia Rochon as well as Emily and Sam Larabée.
Her grandparents Normand and Audette Gauthier (Azilda) and Murielle Tessier (Sudbury) also mourn her loss. She also leaves many uncles, aunts, cousins, the wonderful caregivers and residents of her home and many friends. She left to join her grandfathers Cléophas Rochon and Armand Tessier as well as her cousin Paul Rochon.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Coopérative Funéraire de Sudbury at 222 Lasalle Blvd on Friday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The funeral mass will follow at Ste Agnès Church in Azilda at 3 p.m.
We would like to thank the staff at Community Living Mattawa for their excellent care given to Joelle over the past 14 years. Her memory will live on in our hearts for eternity. Rest in peace my beautiful Joelle!
