VÉZINA, Jeannine (née Pelland)

It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing in Sudbury, on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at the age of 86 years. Daughter of the late Marcien and late Léa (née Dauphin) Pelland. Beloved wife of the late François Vézina. Loving mother of Ginette (Vito), Don, André (Mellaney) and Nicole. Dear sister of Flore (late Jean-Louis), Yvette (late John), Carmen (John), Léo (Lucette), Denise, Louise, Claire (late Michel) and Pauline (Alex). Predeceased by her siblings Rhéal (Suzanne), Raymonde and Lauraine (David). Cherished grandmother of Dayna (Steven), Josée (Tariq), Erica (Arief), Jayde, Olivia (Jacob) and Timothy. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Family was everything to Jeannine. Whether it was sharing a float in the pool, having coffee at her table, or a nature walk, you were always greeted with her warm smile and open arms. Blessed are those who shared her love of life, her culinary delights, her passion and love for her siblings, children, grandchildren and friends. With her open mind and calm spirit, she was always available to listen. Her wisdom guided many of us through life’s challenges and those she touched are richer for it today.
