The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Friday, November 29th, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Son of the late Joseph and the late Rose (née Mainville ) Blais. Cherished friend of Réjeanne Grondin. Loving father of Louise (Matthew) Thomson, Carmen (Gerald) Thibeault, Michel (Carole Sicotte-Blais) Blais and Lee-Ann (Richard) Zackiewicz. Dear brother of Delia Johnsen (Sam), Simone Blais and Madeleine Benner (late David). Predeceased by his brother Royal Blais (Arlene). Loving grandfather of Marc (Nicolle), Lindsey (Joseph), Mathieu (Stéphanie), Hailey, Cole and great-grandfather of Blake, Caleb and Rowan. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 4th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation by cheque or online would greatly be appreciated.
