The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Friday, November 18, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Son of the late David and the late Béatrice (née Lafontaine) Proulx. Beloved husband of Evangéline Proulx (née Dénommé). Lovingly remembered by his children Claudette Dupuis (Raymond) of Alban, Marcel Proulx (Denise) of Sudbury, Lise Proulx (Ronald Lacasse) and Annette Proulx (Frank Medwenitsch) both of Ottawa. Predeceased by his daughter Denise Michalak (Walter of Sudbury), his brothers Noël, Lionel (late Marie), Fernand (Yvette of Sudbury) and his sister Jeanne Lalonde (late Fernand). Sadly missed by his 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many relatives, extended families and friends. Harvey will be remembered for having been a Knights of Columbus member, council 2566, Sturgeon Falls. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame) Sudbury, Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, November 21, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in St-Dominique Church, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
