It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Gilles Denis Dubien, who left us here in Sudbury on April 10th, 2023 at the age of 68 years. He leaves behind the love of his life, Diane (Portelance), his wife of 50 years. Cherished son of Lise Denise and Conrad (predeceased). Beloved brother of Gino (Suzanne). Revered father of Julie and Chantal. Admired father-in-law of Lenn Gavan and Jean-Serge Bidal. Adored Pépére of Valérie and Véronique Bidal. He also leaves behind many valued in-laws, nieces and nephews, and friends. Gilles lived life to the fullest and was loved by all who knew him. He was the Owner-Operator of Gil’s Brake Shop for 30 years until his retirement, after which he greatly enjoyed spending his winters in Florida with Diane. A funeral Mass will be held at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville church in Val Thérèse, on Saturday April 29th, 2023 at 10 a.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
