It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury, on October 12, 2022. Daughter to the late Romeo and late Florence (née Sarazin) Lacroix. Caring and loving wife to the late René Clément. Cherished oldest sister to the late André Lacroix (Margaret), late Raymond Lacroix (Louise), late Maurice Lacroix, late Gérard Lacroix, Jeannette “Janet” McKerral (Ray) and Pauline Lacroix. Sister in-law to Marcel and Joan Clément. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In her younger years she enjoyed picking wild strawberries, reading, crafts and helping her family on the farm. Georgette was a giver, a very selfless person. She constantly strived to please the people around her. Her favorite phrase was “Are you okay?” or “Are you alright?”. She always put other people’s needs above her own. The family of Georgette would like to thank the RN’s, RPN’s and PSW’s at Pioneer Manor (Trillium) who cared for her like family. Their dedication and devotion were truly inspiring. A funeral service will be held at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers and donations the family asks that you preform an act of kindness to others.
