It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Rosset on June 8th, 2020. George will be lovingly remembered by his wife Shirley, and his children, Elizabeth (Marc Hamilton), Dan (Lucita), Michael, Suzan (Benoit Hebert), Mary (Jim Lohr), David and Patrick (Paula, Samantha), and by his eleven grandchildren, David (Chantal), Paul (Jessica), John Marc (Samantha), Erik (Kristy), Justin, Alexandre, Mathieu, Jacob, Christopher, Joshua, Brianna, and by his seven great-grandchildren, Preston, Ally, Landen, Sébastien, Philippe, Lewis and George. Survived by his sister Betty Kennedy. Predeceased by siblings Edmond, Madelaine (Thorpe), Robert, John and Henry.

George consistently demonstrated the primary importance of his family, whom he cherished.   His values endure through his extended family, who reciprocate his love.  He was an active member of both St. Andrew the Apostle and Christ the King congregations.  He served his community as a proud and dedicated police officer for 38 years. George was an ardent fitness advocate and enjoyed his retirement as a member of the YMCA. A family gathering in his honour will take place at a later date. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
