It is with profound sadness that the family announces his sudden passing on Friday, June 16, 2023 at the age of 61 years. Beloved husband of Debbie (née Brideau) Berthiaume. Son of Rollande (née Rouleau) and the late René Berthiaume. Loving and devoted father of Yves (Crystal), Renée (Mike McGee), Andrée (Patrick Vallières) and stepfather of Nicholas Plouffe (Jacey) and Michael Plouffe (Kelsey). Dear brother of Linda Hébert (Mike) and Joanne Vachon (Rick). Cherished grandfather of Danick Bergeron, Patrick Thibault, Amelia, Claire, Rock and Maxx Berthiaume, Xavier, Ella, Nolan, Issac Plouffe and granddaughter Vallières on the way. Sadly, missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and extended riding brothers. A private family gathering and funeral service will be held. Don had a big heart and was always there to lend a helping hand. He had a great love for motorcycles and riding, which ultimately led him to becoming a Black Piston, and acquiring a large extended family in the Black & White world who loved him dearly and he equally in return. His love and loyalty for his brothers was unparalleled. He always had a positive outlook on life as he would always say “Life is beautiful”. In lieu of flowers, donations by cheque or online to the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
