MONGRAIN, Denise

The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the age of 87 years. Wife of the late Benoit Mongrain and late Gérald Turcotte. Daughter of the late Joseph and the late Emilina (née Grimard) Desmarchais. Beloved mother of Roger Mongrain (Ginette), Mirelle Joncas (Ghislain), Nicole Mongrain (friend Jean-Paul), Marie-Anne Mongrain, Denis Mongrain (Marie). Dear sister of Hélène Courville (late Edmond) and Laura Larabie (Fernand). Predeceased by her daughter Irène Mongrain and siblings Willie, Aimé, Cécile, Solange, Thérèse et Marie-Jeanne. Cherished grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Greatly loved by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A chapel service will be held Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury. Due to the current pandemic restrictions, a maximum of 33 can attend and masks are mandatory. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
