Obituary for Christopher Borne

Christopher Borne
It is with great sadness that the family announces his sudden passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the age of 27 years. Loving and proud father of Keaton (8) and Quinn (5). Beloved son of Margaret Linklater, stepfather Kim Charette and father Christopher Borne. Dear brother of Courtney and Katie Borne and stepbrother to Colin and Kassandra Borne. Cherished grandson of Lynne Borne (late Ken) and Sophia Dumoulin (late Randy). He will be greatly missed by his best friend and the mother of his children Brittany Richer. Sadly missed by his aunts and uncles Jody Corbiere (Jeremiah), Tracy Manchester, Chris Manchester (Sabrina), Terry Manchester, Trevor Manchester, Jason Linklater (Christine), Tim Borne and close cousin Matt Daciw. Predeceased by his aunt Lisa Borne and uncle Andy Borne. Will also be greatly missed by his extended family and friends. Christopher Joel Alexander Borne (C.J., Ceej) was a beautiful soul with a huge heart of gold. He had a mischievous smile so big and bright and a laugh so contagious you couldn’t possibly resist joining in. C.J’. s greatest love was his two boys, his pride and joy. He enjoyed all aspects of spending time with his children. He loved to play his video games with them and share his love of the outdoors, whether it be biking, swimming, water gun fights or most recently building a zipline for them with their Papa. He never let a day go by without letting them know they were loved. He was always super helpful anytime you needed something fixed. He was a natural born handyman who was great working with his hands. There was not a problem he couldn't solve without a little elbow grease and brain power. If it's broken, he'll fix it. He was a supreme conversationalist which made him a justice warrior in debating any cause he was passionate about. Needless to say, he won every argument he was a part of. CJ was motivated and dedicated to always bettering himself. He wasn’t afraid to reflect and to learn from his experiences or share these with the ones he loved, painful or not. His bright light will live on through us all in our hearts and memories. Heaven has gained another sweet angel. Due to the current pandemic a private family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers donations can be made by cheque or online to Keaton and Quinn’s trust fund which can be sent to bellalink72@hotmail.com. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
