It is with sorrow that the family announces her death at the Elizabeth Centre in Val Caron, on Sunday May 16, 2021, at the age of 88. Predeceased by her parents, Alidor Lapalme and Alexina Anna Roy and by her husband, Noël Turcot of St Charles. Also predeceased by her half siblings, Moïse Rivard, Aurore Rivard (Dupuis), Germaine Rivard (Dambrauskas), Rose Rivard (Asselin), Leda Rivard (Lapensée), Marie Anna Rivard (Rousseau), and her grandson, Marc Duval. She will be missed by her children, Richard (Linda), Noella (Jack Wooten), Lucienne (Gérard Giroux), André (Carmen) and Gaëtanne (Albert Duval), her 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Mrs. Turcot was a strong-willed woman who loved sewing, music, good food and winters in Florida. Many thanks to the staff at Health Sciences North and the Elizabeth Center for the welcoming and care she received.
