The family announces with sorrow his passing at St-Joseph’s Villa, Monday, April 19, 2021 at the age of 94 years. Son of the late Alexandre and of the late Aurore (née Lalonde) Galipeault. Beloved husband of the late Gisèle Galipeault (née Beauregard). Loving father of Jocelyn Galipeault (Gabrielle), Pierre Galipeault (Suzanne), Gilles Galipeault (Louise) and Serge Galipeault (Diane). Dear brother of Rose-Délima Leblanc (late Gustave). Predeceased by his siblings: André Galipeault (late Annie), Albina Bisson (late Antonio), Elyse Leblanc (late Ferdinand), Henri Galipeault (late Anita), Mélina Leblanc (late Donoza), Arthur Galipeault, Laura Desjardins (late Léo), Emma Galipeault, Florence Desjardins (late Paul-Emile) and Rose-Eva Galipeault. Alcide will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Nathalie, Martin (Angela), Julie (Mario), Jean-Pierre (Danielle), Mathieu (Nicole), Justin (Sara), by his great-grandchildren, late Jed, Jordan (Ashley), Joshua (Gracey), Daylen, Luca, Margot, Amélie, Brielle and his great-great grandchild Sawyer. He will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A church service will be held at a later date at Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda.
