The family announces with sorrow, her passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the age of 101 years. Daughter of the late Daniel and Marie-Anne (née Dugas) Allard. Wife of the late Edouard St-Onge. Beloved mother of Gilles (Jeannine), Graziella Roy (Jean-Guy), Jean-Guy (Angèle), Marius (Suzane), Raymonde Bourgeois (Rhéal), Isabelle Lamoureux (Aurel), Jean-Noël (Mariette), Maurice (Darlene), Denis (Patricia), Denise Gelinas (Gerard) and Diane Castonguay (Gabriel). Predeceased her son Gerald (Estelle) and by her daughter Jeannine St-Onge. Dear sister of Philippe (Lorrette), Rose Alice Leblanc (late Philomon) and Célina Galant (late René). Predeceased by her siblings Hector (late Lorraine), Evelyne Belisle (late Michel), Hectorine Duguay (Albert) and Emilia Kenny (Marcel). Marie-Claire was at her best when surrounded by her loving family and was most proud of her many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In her younger years, she was a member of the “Fédération des Femmes Canadiennes Françaises”, Chelmsford. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R R 15, Chelmsford, on Sunday, September 27th, 2015 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 28th, 2015 at 11 a.m. in St-Joseph’s Church, Chelmsford.
