Sir Knight Gérald Désormeaux
It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 at the age of 68 years. Son of the late Hervé and the late Marthe (née Martin) Désormeaux. Predeceased by his wife Lise (née Paquette) Désormeaux. Loving father of Natalie Désormeaux, Angèle Désormeaux Patry (Félix) and Lynn Désormeaux Bain (Billy). Cherished grandfather of Maxwell and Cédric. Dear brother of Yvette Désormeaux-Charette (Laurier), Maurice Désormeaux, Hervé Désormeaux, late Claire Désormeaux, Luc Désormeaux, Louise Litalien long time friend, and Jean Désormeaux (Alice). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Gerald was a family man and a devote catholic. We will forever remember him for his warm heart, selflessness, and compassion. His contagious smile and good humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Gérald was a 4th Degree Knight Assembly Ste-Marguerite d’Youville as well as a 3rd Degree Council 10602. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 6 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 27th, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérèse. Memorial masses are welcomed by the family.
