Dear Cousins, Uncle Arnold was a favourite of ours, and we are so very sad to lose him. He had a steadfast heart, and cared deeply for the people around him, just as he cared for the trees and flowers and vegetables in his garden. He took delight in beating us at cards, but was never a sore loser. He made pies that made an ordinary day seem like a holiday, and molasses cookies that would put a smile on your face and keep you going for hours on a long road trip. We'll miss him fondly.
