It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Josephine Brunet (née Chevrette) on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the age of 94 years at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of the late Roland Brunet. Loving mother of Gilles (Beverly), Diane Bourré (late Raymond), Ronald (Dawn), Colette Manfred (Jim), Germain and Gérald (Donna Joncas). She was predeceased by her parents Walter Chevrette and Marie Anne Sauvé, her brothers Alcime, Phillipe (Gracia), Joseph (Alma) and her dear sister Marie Rose Dutrisac (Gaston). Cherished grandmother of Mathew, Paul, Dale, Joanne, Lynne, Normand, Mirage, Danny, Melissa, Adam, Brittany-Ashton, Kassandra and Brittany-Ann and great-grandmother of Justin, Darren, Tyler, Kailey, Ramsey, Madison, Danika, Zandria, Cédric, Jacob, Mathieu, Éric, Brody, Jaxson and June. She is also a proud great-great-grandmother to Talia. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. She lived for her husband and family. She also enjoyed playing cards, fishing, dancing and loved working in her gardens. She retired at Red Oak Villa where she spent 5 happy and precious years. She was loved by everyone. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the medical staff at H.S.N., staff at Red Oak and Bayshore who helped care for our mother. In keeping with our mother’s wishes there will be no visitation. An interment will be held in late April 2017. What the world has lost heaven has gained.
