LABRANCHE, Lucien

The family announces with sorrow, his passing in Sudbury, Saturday, February 11th, 2017 at the age of 95 years. Son of the late Romelus and of the late Maria (née Chartrand) Labranche. Beloved husband to Therese (née Paradis). Loving father of Eugene, Paulette Chartrand, Rheal, Marie-Berthe Roy, Carole Adams, Cecile Murray, Jeanette St-Martin, Gilbert and Luc. Cherished grandfather of 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Lovingly remembered by his brother Normand. Predeceased by his siblings Leo, Therese Poulin, Rita Brunet, Victor, Jean, Andre and Gerard. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Lucien will be remembered for being an avid bingo player. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Wednesday February 15, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Ste-Agnes church, Azilda on Thursday February 16, 2017 at 11a.m. Donations can be made by cheque to the C.O.P.D Foundation. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
