The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Monday, January 16, 2017 at the age of 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Gladys Eleanor (née Thomas) Ducharme. Son of the late Joseph and the late Elmire (née Denomée) Ducharme. Beloved father of Diane Duncan (late Hugh) of Sudbury and Laurelle Piquette (Paul) of Hanmer. Dear brother of René Ducharme, Carmen Cazabon and Gertrude Ducharme. Predeceased by siblings Jeanette Watier and Germaine Ducharme. Cherished grandfather of 5 and great-grandfather of 9. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, January 20, 2017 at 1 p.m. at St-Jacques Church, Hanmer.
