It is with great sorrow that The Family announces her passing at Health Sciences North in Sudbury ON., Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife to Melford Mullen of 58 years. Loving Mother of Linda (Sam Cuomo) and Steven (Paola). Cherished Grandmother of Brandon, Joshua (Bryanna), Kayla (Carlos) and Justin. Daughter of the late Conrad and late Marie-Marthe (née Gagnon) Gilbert. Daughter-in-law of the late Peter and Anne Mullen. Dear Sister of Bernard (Lise), Thérèse (Normand), Charlotte (Julien), Jean Yves (Micheline), Louis (Marie Josée), Normand (Claire), Marie-Anne, Lise (Denis), Micheline (Denis) and Jocelyn (Christine). She will be sadly missed by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, as well as many friends. Yvette’s warm, kind and loving heart always made everyone feel welcome. Her gift of creativity touched and inspired us all. We will hold her in our hearts forever. A private family ceremony will be held, per Yvette’s wishes.
