It is with great sadness that the family of, Yvette (née Lefebvre) Boucher, announces her passing, which occurred at Villa St Gabriel, on Friday, March 4th, 2022, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late René Boucher, born in Val Gagné, Ontario. Yvette was born in Iroquois Falls, she was the daughter of the late Armandine (née Mongrain) Lefebvre born in Amos, Québec and late Maurice Lefebvre born Saint Prosper, Québec. Yvette worked at École secondaire Rayside till her retirement. She was actively involved on different comities at the Paroisse Ste-Agnès in Azilda, and also active at the Club Accueil Age d’Or, Azilda. She was a fabulous cook, loved reading, enjoyed doing craft, crosswords, camping with her family. She enjoyed spending her summers at Geneva Lake and winters in Florida with her beloved (beau grand René) for many years. She leaves behind 7 children: Ginette (Gaston Thériault), Joanne Boucher (Gerry Gareau), Ghyslaine (Daniel Turgeon), Paul Boucher, Lise (Robert Charbonneau) and (late Ron Desrochers), Michel, (Lucille Bélanger), Guy (Nancy). She will be missed by her grandchildren: predeceased Danyelle Thériault, Serge Thériault (Michelle), Brian Levac (Mélanie), Jason Levac, Lise Levac (fiancé Mike Kozushyna), Chuck Turgeon, Daniel Jr Turgeon (Lysa), Cory Turgeon, (Manon), Shawn Desrochers (Amy) Cyndee (Scott Villeneuve), Scott Boucher, Chad Boucher, Sarah-Lynne (Tyler Beskorowany), Kyle Boucher (fiancé Jordyn Thompson), Kristopher Boucher and Zachary Boucher. She will be missed by her great grandchildren: Justin and Damien Thériault, Niva and Kaya Levac, Victoria-Anne and Julie-Leigh Levac-Kozushyna, Caleb, Mia, Nicholas, Philippe, Maxime and Gabriel Turgeon, Gracie and Scarlett Desrochers, Owen and Chloee Villeneuve, Charley and Brett Boucher and Austin Beskorowany. Sisters and brothers: late Jeanne (late Laurier Brousseau), late André (late Rose Hélène), late Florence (late Roger Boucher), late Yvon (late Géraldine), late Florent (late Jeanne D’Arc), Beatrice (late Florian Veilleux), late Georgette (late Roger Veilleux), Arthur (Shirley), Aline (Réjean Lauzon), Jacqueline (late Eldon Toner) and Lorraine (Jean-Marie Rioux). Sisters in-law and brothers in-law : late Germaine (late Hervey Robert), late Roland (late Suzanne), late Marguerite (late Louis Boutin), late Aurèle (late Lucie), late Gérard (late Thérèse), late Claire (late Louis Françis), late Roger (late Florence), Jeannine (late Rosaire Morin), Claudette (late Marcel Rivest) and late André (Claudette). She leaves behind many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to acknowledge the personnel at Villa St-Gabriel Villa for their compassion and care of our beloved mother who was a resident since January 13th, 2012. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 8th, visiting hours are in between 6 to 9 pm. at Cooperative Funeral Home, 4570, rue St-Joseph, Hanmer. Funeral mass will be celebrated on, Wednesday, March 9th, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Ste Marguerite d’Youville, 4290 Old Hwy 69, Val Therese, Ontario. Masks are required at the church and Cooperative Funeral Home. Donations in memory of Yvette Boucher at the Villa St. Gabriel Villa.
