BLAIS, Viviane (née Castonguay)
In loving memory of Viviane Claire Blais, 78 years old who passed away March 11th, 2021 at St. Gabriel’s Villa in Chelmsford with her son Guy Blais and daughter in law Lee-Anne Blais by her side. Viviane was also a cherished grandmother to Natalie Blais-Tasse (Eric) and Stephany Blais (Hugo) who will remember her always as the incredible grandmother she was. Great grandmother to Layna Tasse, Olivia Tasse and Leeanna Gavidia-Blais. Loving sister to Bernard Castonguay (Claudette), Michel Castonguay (Lorraine), Carmelle Sauvé-Leroux (Clarence, René), Cécile Girard (Normand), Sue Ramey (Paul), and Rheal Castonguay (Cathy). She was an aunt, an amazing friend, and so much more to so many around her. Viviane was an incredible teacher as her many students will attest. We were all blessed to have known her. She was so many things but what we recall the most is her fun and loving personality. Her smile was contagious; you could not help but be happy around her. Though she will be missed, her family finds peace in knowing that her love story with her dearest husband Gilles now continues in heaven as she joined him on his birthday as a final gesture of romance. In keeping with the family’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by cheque or online to St-Gabriel’s Villa.
