The family announces with sadness her passing in Ottawa, Monday, November 14, 2022 at the age of 94 years. Daughter of the late Alfred and of the late Alice (née Marchildon) Gignac. Beloved wife of the late Jean-Marc Lefrançois. Loving mother to Richard, Claude (Karen) and Michel (Danielle) of Ottawa, and Marcel of Aylmer, Qc and predeceased by her son Ronald. Cherished sister of Flore Couture (Jean-Guy predeceased) and Elvine Pharand (Richard). Predeceased by her other siblings: Théodore, Cécile, Louis, Alma, Annette, Blanche, Thomas and Clément. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Philippe, Dominique and Caroline all of Ottawa. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4570 St-Joseph Street, Hanmer on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérèse.
