Tom was born March 27, 1936 in Dorion, Ontario. Loving father of Billie-Jo, Laurie, Sherry (Dan), Susan (Florida), Tommy (Edmonton) Diane and Sharon both of Thunder Bay, Donnie predeceased. Cherished grandfather to Jamey (Julie), Cory, Rikki (Cody), Maggie, Carter and Samantha (Sheldon). Also missed my many great and great great grandchildren. Tom loved his dog Shandi, the furry four legged one, and also the stuffed one that comforted him daily. Also predeceased by loved dog Geordie. He was a proud Justice of the peace and engineer of CN rail, A bush pilot in Nakina, Ontario, an airplane mechanic. He always said he was the jack of all trades but master of none. He loved hunting and fishing, having beers with his buddies. He drove stock cars, won races in Thunder Bay. Tom was a proud member of the Shriners Club for over 30 years. Tom will be missed dearly by his best American hunting buddies. Mike Howard and the Texans and the gang from Alabama. The Michiganites you were all a huge part of his happy life. The celebration of Tom’s life will be the biggest bbq party ever as he will go out with a bang. It will be at his Cree lake camp in Hornepayne next August 2023 at the place he loved with the people who loved him. The family would like to thank and acknowledge Dr. Degreef, for his excellent care and compassion, the staff at Extendicare Falconbridge who went above and beyond caring for my dad. Special thanks to Glenda, Rudy, Kirha and the activity team. We are so grateful that they were his guardian angels. In lieu of flowers, donations to Pet Save would be appreciated. Cremation and arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
