Obituary for Sandra Kohls

Sandra Kohls
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Dawn Kohls peacefully in her home on August 7th, 2022. For over 46 years Sandra was a shining light in so many lives.

She will be greatly missed by her parents Carl and Kathy, and by her siblings Lorna (Lonny), Jeff (Dina), Lynn, Tom (Jackie) and by nieces and nephews Christopher (Kaden and Hailey), Benjamin (Kendra) (Oliver and Kaysen), Rebecca (Xavier and Bentley), Kailin, Kendra, Joshua, Jacob and Keira and also by her beloved dog Niki.

Sandra’s love of music knew no bounds, Abba was her favourite. She enjoyed many musicals put on by various local theatre groups. Sandra loved the outdoors, especially her fuschia flowers. She enjoyed fishing with her mom and dad (especially lunch time).

Sandra loved her mom and dad more than anything. She loved her family and she loved her dogs that she had over the years.

We would like to thank Linda Pichette who cared for Sandra and was her best friend for many years. We would like to thank Sandra’s PSWs who came in to help care for her daily: Giselle, Naomi, Katie, Lee Ann, Jennifer. Special tribute to former PSWs Carmen, Nicole and Melanie.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Thursday, August 11, 2022, from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Therapeutic Riding Program, Sandra loved riding and the mention of her horse’s name always brought huge smiles.

“So we are always confident, because we know that while we are living in the body, we are away from our home with the Lord. We live by faith and not by sight. We are confident, and we would prefer to leave the body and be at home with the Lord.”
