It is with heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Robert “Bob” Raymond Ducharme on June 13, 2022, at the age of 71. His fight with cancer was not an easy one but he faced his pain with courage until the very end. Predeceased by his parents Raymond Ducharme and Georgiana (nee Pednaud) He leaves behind his best friend and partner, Elise Denis, his daughter Lynn (Dave Myers) from Edmonton Alberta, and his Son Marc (Ashley) from Arizona. Grandchildren Kevin, Porter and Wren. Survived by his brother Denis from Ottawa, Michael, Ronald (Lisa), Paulette Marks (predeceased) (Edward), George from BC (predeceased), Arthur (Debbie) from BC, Paul (Karol Pang) Toronto, Suzanne (partner Dennis Niwranski) Manitoulin Island, Roxanne (Brian Killah) and Daniel (Jo-Ann) Ottawa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob enjoyed golf, gardening, playing cards, spending his winters in Lake Havasu Arizona after retirement, traveling with his partner, watching Oilers play in the playoffs and the occasional Bingo. He was a friendly loving man who enjoyed life. Thank you to Dr Ravi-Paul Singh, Dr Shona Smith, Dr Malone, Dr Jason Sutherland for their ongoing support. Thank you to Kim Spicer, Bayshore nurse for your guidance in Bob’s last journey. There will be no visitation at this time and a Farewell/celebration of life at a later date.
