It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the age of 92 years. Daughter of the late Henri and Laura (née Lefebvre) Farmer. Beloved wife to Léon Laurier Davis. Loving mother of Dan Davis (Marielle), Lorraine Gauvreau (Don), Jocelyne Rainville (Mario) and Colette Jacques. Predeceased by her daughter Suzanne Paquette (Fernand). Predeceased by her siblings Hector (late Claudette), Jean-Marie (Donna), Guy (late Clementine), Paul (Alietta), Dolorèse Roy (late Léonard), Lucienne Brosseau (late Arthur), Adrienne Lappan (late Gerry) and Evangeline Roy (late Albert). Cherished grandmother of Jamie, Chantal, Éric, Julie, Renée, Martin, Adam, Aimee and predeceased by her grandson Christian. Proud great-grandmother of Liam, Georgia, Graham, Summer, Gaia and Penny. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In keeping with Rita’s wishes there will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford.
