It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sudbury, June 6, 2020 at the age of 63 years. Son of the late Jacqueline Simard (née Richer) and of the late Angèle Richer (née St-Germain). Loving father of Richard Terrence “Ricky” Richer (fiancé Carissa Bruyere). Cherished grandfather of Meadow. Dear brother of Rudy of Hanmer (predeceased by wife Rena) , Maurice Simard (Caroline) and Tony Simard, both of Quebec. Predeceased by his siblings; Lorraine, Lorenzo (Gilberte of Sudbury), Laurent and Patricia “Patsy”. Sadly missed by the mother of his son Margot Landry, as well as by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Hospice along with his God sent angel for all the care and compassion shown to Rick during his journey.
