It is with profound sadness that the family announces his sudden passing on March 4, 2023 at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of 42 years to Cécile Proulx (née Ouellette). Son of Philippe and of the late Pauline (née Chenier) Proulx. Devoted father of Mélanie. Predeceased by his daughter Lynn. Dear brother of Denis (Nicole), Alain (Karrie), Denise (late Richard), Carole (Steve) and Louise. Cherished grandfather of Makayla, Evan and Nathan. Great-grandfather of Esmmé. Equally missed by all his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by his fur baby Mico. The family would like to thank all nurses and doctors for their exceptional care. He was a die-hard Montreal Canadians fan, a hard worker, and had a heart of gold. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph St, Hanmer, on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, March 11 at the St-Marguerite d Youville Church at 10 a.m. Donations by cheque or online to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Il manque également à toutes ses nièces, neveux, parents et amis. Il sera regretté par son “fur baby” Mico. La famille tient à remercier tous les infirmiers et médecins pour leurs soins exceptionnels. Il était un mordu inconditionnel des Canadiens de Montréal, un travailleur acharné et un cœur en or. La famille recevra parents et amis à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE, 4570, rue St-Joseph, Hanmer, le vendredi 10 mars 2023 de 14h à 17h et de 19h à 21h.
