It is with profound sadness that the family announces his passing on May 3, 2023 at the age of 51 years. Beloved husband of 26 years to Michelle Caza Joly. Son of André and of the late Lise (née Laferrière) Lefebvre. Devoted father of Jessica (Victoria). Dear brother of Brigitte (Art), Robert and Michel. Predeceased by his sister Marguerite. Equally missed by all his nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Having a passion for travel, Richard and his wife were fortunate enough to have experienced and enjoyed the local culture in over 14 countries. Richard has been a Rotarian for the past 21 years and has always lived by their philosophy of “service above self”. He was honored to receive the Paul Harris Fellow from Rotary International Foundation in 2019. Throughout his life, Richard dedicated a lot of his time volunteering with numerous organizations.
