The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Françoise (née Gilbert) Lapensée. Son of the late Joseph and the late Ida (née Lavoie) Lapensée. Loving father of François Lapensée (Shannon), Robert Lapensée (Marie-Anne), Nathalie Lapensée and Chantal Lapensée. Dear brother of Colette Watts (Ronald) of Ottawa. Predeceased by his siblings Roger “Babe" Lapensée (late Rosalie) and Mignonne Bertrand (late Paul). Cherished grandfather of Josée Laurence, Angelica Lapensée, Nicholas Lapensée, Jacob Lapensée, Cassandra Lapensée, Nicholas Harvey (Taylor), Morgan Harvey, Addyson Harvey and Zach Harvey(Kaitlin and kids Karleigh & Kalvin). The family will receive relatives and friends for a scheduled visitation, at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 RR 15, Chelmsford, Monday, March 1, 2021 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Paroisse St-Joseph, Chelmsford. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
