POITRAS, Rachel (née Gravelle)
It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing in Sudbury, Saturday, January 11th, 2020 at the age of 88 years. Daughter of the late Leo and the late Eva (née Dubois) Gravelle. Wife of the late Gerald Poitras. Loving mother of Daniel Poitras (Lenore), Jeaninne Piché (Ron Forget), Carmen Poitras (Gérald Giroux) and Suzanne Pilon (Gerald). Dear sister of Conrad Gravelle (Lilliane), Rejeanne Dell (Archie), and Bernadette Giroux (Pierre). Predeceased by her siblings Gabrielle Rousselle (Armand), Claire Sauvé (Aurel), Cleophas Gravelle (Leonie), Damien Gravelle, Ronald Gravelle and Fernande Roy (Bernard). Cherished grandmother of Shane, Cory, Cindy, Wayne, Angèle, Michelle, Cassandra, Marley, Christine and Mélanie, and great grandmother of 11. Rachel will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph St., Hanmer, Tuesday, January 14th, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. also Wednesday, January 15th from 9 a.m-10:30 a.m. A funeral mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St-Jacques Church, Hanmer.
