LIZOTTE, Pauline (née Côté)
The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Pauline Lizotte in Sudbury, Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the age of 78 years, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife for 58 years of Patrick Lizotte. Loving mother of Patrick Lizotte (Joanne) of Glen Williams, Paul Lizotte (Lise) of Garson and Carole Kirby (Paul) of Wynyard Park, England. Proud Grandmother of Nicholas, Danika, Evan, Marco, Cameron, Curtis and Ryan. Daughter of Napoléon and Armosa (née Laurin) Côté (both predeceased). Dear sister of Lorraine, Rodrigue, Donald, Norbert, Réjean, Annette, Guylaine, Guy and Normand. Predeceased by her sister Normande. Pauline was a sweet, fun loving woman who loved her family first and foremost. She enjoyed all sports and was part of a bowling team for many years. She also played and was an avid fan of softball. She taught both her sons how to pitch and catch at a young age. She was her sons’ greatest fan. She loved watching and cheering the boys on as they played their favourite sports. Pauline especially loved watching hockey! She would then talk about the game with her family for hours on end. She treasured the precious moments that she spent with her daughter Carole. She also loved travelling with her sisters to the casino hoping to win the big jackpot. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on the 4th floor for all the great care given to Pauline during her final days. We know that Pauline is at peace now and her suffering has ended. She will be missed, and we will cherish her memory forever! A private family service will be held at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque or online) to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
