It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury, on Monday, February 27, 2023 at the age of 82 years. Daughter of the late Robert Edgar and late Ivy May (née Newman) Gentles. Predeceased by her husband Gaston Theodore Barrette. Loving mother of Francella Barrette and Edgar Barrette (Maryse). Dear sister of Colin Gentles, Myrna Gentles-Martin and Eileen Benzie. Proud grandmother of Justin and Nicholas. She also leaves behind Harley-Ann and Beau, 2 special dogs that brought her lots of joy. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was a devoted nurse for several years and loved caring for others. The family would like to thank everyone at Extendicare York for all their compassion and care. In keeping with Patricia’ wishes there will be no visitation or service.
