In loving memory of Micheline Blanchette 66 years who passed away suddenly at Health Sciences North Thursday November 5th, with her husband at her side. Beloved wife of 45 years to Sidney Blanchette. Loving mother of Joel Blanchette (Michelle), Natalie Blanchette (Jean-Roger). Cherished Nana of Aliyah, Sydney, Nicolas, Ismail, Dahlia and Lucie. Daughter of the late Guy and Georgette Cayen. Dear sister to Daniel Cayen (Rosalyn), Estelle Giroux (Claude) and Claire Venne (Normand).Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, extended family and friends.

Micheline was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. Her many creations are treasured by those lucky enough to receive them. She also enjoyed many years of camping with family first at Bear Lake, then at my brother Andy’s camp on Fox Lake and finally at our trailer at Hidden Village Campground on the Vermillion River. Family was always at the center of her activities and her wonderful cooking gave us many happy memories.

The family wishes to thank the caring staff of the 4th floor at Extendicare York and the compassionate nurses and doctors in the Health Sciences North emergency department.
