It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury, Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the age of 90 years. Son of the late Steven and of the late Anna (née Palajsa) Furac. Beloved husband of Estelle St-Germain of Sudbury. Dear stepfather of Moe St-Germain (Julie Labelle) and Dan St-Germain (Jennifer). Predeceased by his stepson Steve. Predeceased by his siblings Peter (late Anne), Joey (Oga) and Mary. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his step-grandchildren Justin (Jenna), Eric (Lynn), Shalacia and Kitiara and great-grandfather of Réné, Jérémie, Logan, Joelle, Dominique and Victoria. Also survived by his 4 children. Michael was the former owner/operator of Frood Taxi for 50 years, having been retired since 1996. He was a proud member of the Croatian Club and was an active member of the Croatian Catholic Church Sveti Marko. In keeping with Michael’s wishes and due to the current pandemic and its restrictions, a private family service was held at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
